Hello and a warm welcome to Empress Caviar. I am Tristina Holst, Founder and CEO.

My father is an expert in sturgeon farming, and built the largest global caviar ecosystem; a network that includes Dieckmann & Hansen, the oldest caviar company in the world, artisanal, small-batch farms, production houses, generational partners, connoisseurs and merchants. Steeped in the original knowledge of the sturgeon with their pure Caspian genetics, and the Hanseatic clarity and tradition, this network continues to shape the entire Caviar world. 

When he bought the first caviar company, I was in my early twenties and knew almost nothing about caviar. The more I learned about the farms, the people, and the extraordinary work that goes into creating something that captivates the world, the more I fell in love with the business behind it. Observing this incredible network taught me that true luxury isn’t about something being expensive—it comes from heritage, craftsmanship, the experience and the care behind it. 

Moved by my family’s tradition and in tune with my heart’s ambition, Empress Caviar was born; a new chapter and a new wave of luxury. My commitment to you remains: a deep connection to the Hanseatic spirit, discernment, uncompromising selection, respect for nature, and elevated craftsmanship.
